Tasks
- Perform B2B natural gas sales and purchase activities with large end-user customers
- Continuously conduct market research to identify and attract new customers
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new B2B sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, key decision-makers, and stakeholders
- Understand clients' business challenges and present tailored solutions to meet their objectives
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets
- Contribute to the achievement of overall sales goals and targets
- Participate in the development of sales and purchase plans, strategies, and activities
- Participate in natural gas pricing and conduct sales/purchase price analyses
- Analyze natural gas supply portfolios
- Prepare and submit reports on natural gas sales and purchases
- Prepare and submit all required natural gas sales and purchase reports to state authorities and institutions
- Communicate with relevant transmission and distribution system operators, as well as natural gas suppliers
- Manage contracts and ensure the necessary transmission and distribution capacities for gas sales to customers
- Manage capacity booking auctions for natural gas transportation
- Handle tasks related to contracting and execution of natural gas transportation and distribution agreements
- Handle tasks related to contracting and execution of natural gas sales and purchase agreements
- Prepare and control reports related to the transfer (take-over and hand-over) of natural gas
- Perform tasks related to customer data management
- Analyze and evaluate sales methods, costs, and results
- Actively communicate with other departments and units within the company to execute assigned tasks and identify potential problems or solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or company management
- Propose and prepare sales and purchase budgets and plans.
What we expect
- College or university degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Management, or Engineering
- Experience in energy trading, preferably in the natural gas sector
- Knowledge of the Energy Law applicable in the Republic of Serbia is desirable
- Language requirements: Fluency in Serbian; upper-intermediate proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently with initiative and a proactive attitude, while acting within corporate policies and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work
- Valid category B driver's license (mandatory)
- Computer skills: Proficient in basic computer use, with good knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Additional qualifications: Knowledge of energy supply and/or trading;
- familiarity with local energy markets and Serbian energy regulations.
