We are a inspiring game studio seeking talented and experienced Art Manager to join our creative team.

As an Art Manager at Popiplay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our games. You will lead multiple teams and projects, ensuring all game assets meet the game's setting and align with our high standards of quality. Your expertise will help unify our new games under a recognizable brand, enhancing our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Lead and manage multiple art teams and projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of assets.
  • Define and maintain the overall art style for our slot games, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
  • Evaluate the quality of game assets, ensuring they align with the game's setting and market trends.
  • Collaborate with developers to propose and implement strategies for optimizing the size of game assets to reduce the overall game "weight".

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant educational background in Art, Design, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within the gaming or iGaming industry.
  • Proven experience managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and the game development process.
  • Experience in optimizing game assets to reduce overall game size without compromising quality.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in concept art development (e.g. Stable diffusion. MidJourney, DALL-E, Runway ML).
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Spine, Figma, Jira).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of art styles and successful game projects.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in game art and design.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide creative teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to plan and organize teams to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation for art projects.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
