Your Role

As an MLOps - AI Platform Engineer, you build and operate the infrastructure that makes our AI models run in production. You create and automate pipelines for training, inference, monitoring, and model iteration. You will optimise workflows, including batching, parallel segmentation, and parallel tool call orchestration, ensuring reliability and scalability in real-world environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build, automate, and operate end-to-end ML pipelines (training, fine-tuning, inference, drift monitoring)
  • Optimize inference and document processing pipelines, including batching, parallel segmentation, and parallel tool calls
  • Deploy and scale LLM and multimodal models on Kubernetes / OpenShift with GPU support
  • Automate deployments of models and services in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, GitHub Actions).
  • Set up monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Collaborate with AI and MLOps engineers to deploy GPU-based models efficiently.
  • Manage networking, VPNs, and connectivity (VPC/VNet, firewalls, API gateways).
  • Ensure infrastructure security and compliance (access control, certificates, audit).
  • Ensure security and governance over model artifacts, embeddings, and data
  • Support troubleshooting, release management, and rollback strategies.
  • Document architectures, configurations, and operational processes.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in MLOps, ML engineering, or platform engineering in production environments
  • Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux administration.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and CI/CD systems.
  • Familiar with Azure or Swiss private cloud providers.
  • Experience with OpenShift and on-prem GPU workloads (VMs, storage, networking)
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and solid understanding of networking.
  • Understanding of AI workloads and GPU-based deployments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability best practices.
  • Understanding of networking, VPNs, ZTNA and security best practices.
  • Security-oriented mindset and experience in regulated industries preferred.

About the project:

We are developing a robust on-premise AI platform designed for a client operating in a highly regulated industry. The solution is built on Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure to ensure scalability, container orchestration, and enterprise-grade security compliance.

The platform integrates multiple Large Language Models (LLMs) to power a diverse range of over 20 AI-driven use cases, including automation, data analysis, decision support, and natural language understanding.

Our goal is to create a multi-agent environment, where various AI agents can interact, share context, and collaborate to solve complex business tasks efficiently and securely.

The project combines cutting-edge AI engineering, MLOps, and platform architecture expertise, with a strong focus on performance, governance, and data protection.
