Yarnhub is an animation studio specializing in short films dedicated to outstanding people and their life stories set against significant historical events. Our films are watched by more than 30M+ in the USA, Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, and many other countries worldwide monthly.

If you enjoy cinematic animation, know your way around UE and want to make a career in this field, then our position is just for you. From day one, you'll work on exciting projects using Unreal Engine, and our team of experienced animators, 3D artists and directors will be there to assist you when needed.We're a team that's always learning and sharing knowledge, so we're looking for someone as curious and hardworking as us, eager to work on thrilling films for the whole world to watch.

We're considering candidates based in Belgrade or those planning to relocate.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the film director to understand and define the role of each scene in the video.
  • Create Cinematic animation in Unreal Engine, 3D vehicle animations, importing/exporting animations for further work by other animators.
  • Work with planes, tanks, and ships to create animations using Unreal Engine's Sequencer.
  • Troubleshoot animation-related issues and work closely with the technical team to solve challenges.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Unreal Engine and character animation techniques.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in 3D animation for at least a year.
  • Proficiency in the engine's animation tools.
  • General understanding of engine properties and nuances (materials, BP, light, environment, etc.) will be your advantage.
  • Experience in creating realistic animation.
  • Understanding of vehicle mechanics, aerodynamics, and physics.
  • Ability to express dramatic moments artistically.
  • Understanding of animation principles and a good sense of composition;
  • Good English language skills (B2 and above).
  • Willingness to complete a test task.
  • Experience in game cutscenes animation and character animation is an advantage.

Conditions:

  • Working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00;
  • Cool office in the center of Belgrade.
