Lead Delivery Manager

We are looking for an experienced Lead Delivery Manager to join our Connected Ecosystem Team in Belgrade. This is an incredible opportunity to work with multiple product teams and lead a critical program and large initiatives across the IP business. 

This position spans program and product-level delivery management. At times, you may be asked to focus on a specific product line, drive continuous improvement, and implement structures to improve delivery efficiency.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience coming from either:
  • Program Management/Delivery Management knowledge and experience, including Agile methodologies, demonstrated within current/previous role(s) and/or
  • You have exposure to technology and software development environments preferably with cloud-based solutions in a leading role (you have worked as a leader within the Software Development Life Cycle).
• You have at least 7 years of experience building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership. Experience with facilitating and guiding actionable discussions, including technical ones, within your multidisciplinary teams and programs and upstream/downstream of them.
• You have at least 7 years of experience working with team(s)/programs(s) with planning and forecasting at a program, project, and ticket level. 
• You have 7 years of experience with exposure to solid mediation and relationship-mending.
• You have 3-5 years of experience with Jira and Confluence.

It would be great if you also have . . . 

• Professional training/certification in project management (PMP, PMI-ACP, or other).
• A comprehensive understanding of problems and potential solutions within the product delivery space.
• Exposure to multicultural, global, and remote teams
• Detailed knowledge of the software development/delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and agile best practices (DevOps, BDD, CI/CD, …).
• Experience establishing, measuring, improving and leading outcome indicators on a program/initiative or a team level.

What will you be doing in this role?

• You will manage critical work programs and initiatives across the IP Lifecycle Management business from initiation to landing, ensuring they meet desired outcomes.
• Empower by building self-sustaining delivery structures and teams, implementing Agile/Lean, and selecting/combining best practices within your team(s).
• Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalating when needed.
• Manage sensibly between up-front and as-you-go planning, clearly communicate trade-offs and assumptions, and center on driving measurable outcomes at both strategic and tactical levels.
• Provide timely, transparent, actionable, data-driven reporting to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• You will drive your team to deliver value, improve the flow of work and delivery of output/outcomes, reduce the bottleneck, and minimize waste. You will proactively manage your teams'/projects' risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish a clear & continuous improvement cycle, improving the most pressing problems; the Delivery Manager will often lead in pushing for change outside their team(s) /project(s) where necessary.

Product you will be supporting

Integration Hub and StateHub allow many of our applications developed over the last twenty years to communicate with each other. The integration platform allows developers in all parts of Clarivate to share innovations using our platform-agnostic approach including data transportation, format transparency, and micro-front-end UIs. This platform aims to enable the integration and exchange of data between several internal applications

About the Team      

You will be part of Connected Ecosystem Delivery Management team, supporting few products/services that leverage Integration Hub/StateHub integration platform, working closely with Integration platform development teams and Product teams.

Hours of Work  

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
