Role Summary
The Enterprise Data and Analytics team is part of the Big Data and AI. The Enterprise Data and Analytics team provides data integration between the data sources and data warehouse ensuring data consistency and freshness. We also perform data transformations from bronze, silver, and gold layers, ensuring the data is ready for consumption. Ultimately, we provide state of the art reporting layer to support business stakeholders and guide them to the company’s north star.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the team projects from the technical perspective by building data models
- Build modular set of data services using SQL, data build tool (dbt), AWS services, and other tools
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders and develop thorough understanding of their processes and challenges
- Translate requirements into usable stories
- Create and groom a backlog of well-formed user stories for implementation by dev and design teams
- Communicate via both written documents and verbal presentations in an organized and clear way, including to executive leadership as needed
- Maintain reports for work in progress and the status of delivering against the product roadmap
- Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation
- Design and maintain technical and project documentation
- Shifted working hours to overlap with US time zone
Qualifications
- At least 6+ years experience in IT industry
- Technical background
- Experience with at least one programming language such as e.g. Python or Java
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with cloud solutions (preferably AWS, but others are fine as well)
- Experience with DBT
- Experience with SVN (e.g., git)
- Extremely organized, meticulous, detailed oriented
- Able to manage various competing initiatives and prioritize accordingly
- Experience with Jira and Atlassian Products is a plus
