Supply Planner
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Planner with a focus on operational planning, projects, and expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management principles, and hands-on experience leveraging SAP IBP to optimize supply chain operations.
The Supply Planner will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery, support Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, contribute, and execute projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term supply plans to meet demand requirements and service while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and execute replenishment strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate within cross-functional teams (production, regional teams, CTS etc.) to schedule manufacturing and distribution activities in alignment with demand forecasts.
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with demand planning teams to understand demand forecasts and incorporate them into supply plans.
- Proactively identify potential supply constraints and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in S&OE meetings to discuss supply constraints, production schedules, and inventory management strategies to ensure customer order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with S&OE teams to identify potential disruptions, develop action plans, and communicate supply chain impacts to stakeholders.
Projects Support:
- Provide support for supply chain improvement projects aimed at enhancing processes, reducing lead times, and increasing overall supply chain agility.
- Assist project leads in identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and service level improvement within SAP IBP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyse data, develop project plans within SAP IBP, and support the implementation of key initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring project progress, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Utilize SAP IBP data and insights to support project decision-making and ensure alignment with supply chain objectives.
Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field, professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) advantageous.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP IBP, SAP HANA/ECC).
- Hands-on experience with SAP IBP, particularly utilizing the optimizer module, highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles, lean manufacturing methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques advantageous.
