Location: Belgrade, Serbia

Summary

The Junior Project Manager will support the delivery of small projects or project streams within larger projects or programmes. This role focuses on customer projects (both external and internal) that often involve a high level of technical content. Projects will typically involve IT systems, infrastructure, roll-outs, application development and management, systems migration, and service provision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Support:
  • Support the definition of each element of the project plan or lead the definition of a project stream.
  • Assist with scheduling and control of all project or work stream activities, including delivery schedules, project milestones and dependencies, acceptance criteria, quality criteria, commercial arrangements, and financial parameters.
  • Aid in the management of sub-contractors/partners and ensure all project stakeholders are informed and involved.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Liaison:
  • Ensure continuous communication with all project stakeholders to keep them informed and involved throughout the project.
  • Maintain regular updates with project managers and stakeholders on project status, advising on any slippages or risks.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring:
  • Supervise project or work stream performance against the agreed plan and initiate remedial action or escalation when required.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely reporting and escalation of project progress.
  • Monitor and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality and Risk Management:
  • Adhere to the chosen project management methodology regarding planning, control, reporting, documentation, quality, risk analysis, and management, and change control.
  • Establish and agree upon robust acceptance criteria for projects or work streams to measure performance and secure customer sign-off.
  • Financial and Resource Management:
  • Assist with the preparation and control of the project budget, ensuring delivery against financial targets set.
  • Support the production of accurate financial forecasting for project performance.

  • Complete ad hoc duties and tasks allocated through the line management chain as required.
  • Prepare a bill of materials for each project, create pick lists, and ensure timely purchase of manufactured parts and bought-in items.
