RPG Engineer

We are looking for an experienced RPG Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications using RPG.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG (RPG III/IV/ILE/Free) on IBM i platform
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, project management, and end users
• Document code and processes for future maintenance and upgrades

Requirements

• Strong experience with RPG programming on IBM i (AS/400)
• Familiarity with CL, DB2/400, and SQL
• Highly experienced with DB2 and stored procedures 
• Knowledge of AS/400 and iSeries is required
• Migration of legacy systems experience preferred
• Experience with modern RPG (Free Format, ILE) is a plus
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
