Plant Controller.

Job description:

  • Act as a key interface between Central Plant Controlling (C-PCO) and local Plant Management, ensuring transparency and consistent communication in both directions.
  • Implement new controlling standards and processes defined by the central organization at plant level.
  • Lead the full planning process for the plant (budget & forecast), ensuring data quality, accuracy, and timely submission to C-PCO.
  • Collaborate with local HR to secure timely and accurate personnel cost planning and ensure full integration into central planning.
  • Prepare, validate, and present the complete planning package to Central Plant Controlling and local management, including analysis of strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee the reporting process, ensuring the accuracy of SAP postings, cost monitoring, and compliance with reporting deadlines.
  • Conduct monthly closing activities (SAP checks, data validation, reporting packages) and ensure the reliability of financial data across SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint reports.
  • Perform detailed product-level performance analysis, including efficiency tracking, cost deviation analysis, and profitability reporting (EBT, COPA, PCR, GOAL reports, etc.).
  • Develop and monitor corrective and recovery action plans for any negative deviations from budget, tracking implementation and effectiveness.
  • Support local management and drive cost improvement, providing ad-hoc analyses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to operational and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably Economic Sciences);
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (xls/ ppt);
  • English- spoken and writing advanced level;
  • Previous 2-3 years of experience in the Controlling field;
  • Knowledge of an ERP system (e.g. SAP)
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to evaluate results and solve problems;

  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% from working time
