Lead Test Engineer

• Design and execute manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing
• Develop, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to understand business requirements and define test strategies
• Build and maintain test plans, test data, and documentation
• Identify, log, and track bugs and inconsistencies with clear reproduction steps
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
• Ensure cross-browser and responsive testing as needed
• Participate in release validation and UAT support in collaboration with business users

• 5+ years of QA experience with both manual and automation testing
• Proficiency in Playwright (preferred) or other E2E testing frameworks
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript testing practices
• Comfortable testing web applications, ecommerce projects, APIs, and backend systems
• Experience with test management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Experience in performance testing or accessibility testing
• Knowledge of BDD (e.g., Cucumber) practices
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

• High-quality test cases and documentation
• Automated test suite integrated in CI/CD
• Test coverage reports and defect metrics
• Regression validation ahead of releases
• Contribution to team QA best practices and knowledge sharing
