Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Tester to support the growth and evolution of our business, with strong experience in mobile applications.

As a QA Tester at Everli, you will work closely with product managers, developers, designers and analysts to build smart, scalable, and reliable solutions that power a seamless user experience. You will join a small, distributed, domain-driven team where autonomy and ownership are key. In our fast-paced environment, you'll be encouraged to experiment, think critically, and always strive for technical excellence.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Review requirements, specifications, and design to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Collaborate with the QA and engineering team on the estimation, test planning, test execution and reporting of new features and bug fixes for mobile and web apps releases
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and help to troubleshoot issues
• Perform thorough manual testing of mobile and web applications, with a strong focus on edge cases and real-user scenarios, ensuring a high quality prior to any release
• Write detailed, clear, and actionable bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence (logs, screenshots, video).
• Give daily updates on test progress and identify blocking issues
• Test app behavior in mobile-specific conditions (offline mode, push notifications, app lifecycle, orientation changes, OS-level permissions)
• Execute smoke, integration and E2E manual type of testing
• Perform thorough manual regression testing when bugs are resolved

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years proven work experience on mobile and web apps
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when requirements are incomplete or ambiguous.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Experience with Atlassian development tools, i.e. Jira, Confluence
• Willingness to learn and embrace emerging technologies and new fields
• Able to work in an Agile/Scrum process
• Strong team player with positive attitude
• Be proficient in both spoken and written English

Bonus Skills:

• Automatization tools (i.e Selenium, Playwright)
• Experience with Postman, Charles/Fiddler or other network/debugging tools.
• Experience with SQL
• JavaScript/Java knowledge
• GIT knowledge
