ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are looking for
Senior / Expert Java Developers
with a strong background in finance/fintech.

Our client is a Swiss fintech company with its own product portfolio, currently preparing for major expansion. They are developing advanced software solutions in the fields of
trade finance, credit management, and compliance
.

They have chosen
Belgrade
as the location for a new team of more than 15 people. TNation has been selected as the strategic partner to build this team. This is a
long-term engagement
(several years)


IMPORTANT NOTE:
Work will be carried out exclusively from TNation's office in New Belgrade. One day of remote work per week may be considered.

INVITATION TO COLLEAGUES FROM THE REGION

TNation successfully employs professionals from across the region (Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro). While remote work is not possible for this project, we warmly welcome colleagues willing to relocate to Belgrade. TNation will provide full relocation support.

REQUIRED SENIORITY

Senior / Expert level (minimum
5+ years
of professional experience).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems for trade finance operations.
  • Develop modules for billing document processing, credit limit monitoring, and real-time reporting.
  • Define microservice architecture and APIs.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and compliance in system design.
  • Integrate with financial APIs, credit bureaus, and external systems.
  • Guarantee data integrity, transactional consistency, and high performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver robust features.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong expertise in
    Java
    and solid knowledge of
    SQL
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Spring Boot, JPA, RESTful APIs
    .
  • Background in
    financial systems
    .
  • Familiarity with messaging tools and microservices architecture.
  • Good understanding of
    multi-tenant SaaS platforms
    and
    financial compliance
    .
  • Excellent communication skills in
    English
    .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in
    financial & transaction processing
    and reporting.
  • Previous work on
    fintech or banking platforms
    .
  • Bonus: Knowledge of
    trade finance or lending platforms
    .
