THE OPPORTUNITY
Pointe is looking to support our firm's rapid growth by growing a best-in-class primary research function. As a Junior Research Associate, you will accelerate Pointe's access to elite subject matter experts across the globe.

Developing original, cutting-edge insights is mission critical. As a Junior Research Associate, you will be the "tip of the spear", developing a robust pipeline of subject matter experts who are able to drive fresh industry insights to power our research. You will be responsible for acquiring industry experts and owning the full search process, which includes identifying in-demand knowledge leaders, conducting outreach, connecting with targeted experts, pitching our value proposition, and adding to our existing bench of specialized experts.

• Search and identify leading global subject matter experts to drive Pointe's original research
• Reach out and recruit industry experts to develop an ongoing pipeline of fresh market insights across multiple practice areas
• Screen and vet subject matter experts via telephone for participation in current client-facing research engagements
• Collaborate with internal engagement teams to scope expert insight requirements
• Build, manage, and own relationships with hundreds of subject matter experts that you onboard into our network over time

• Bachelor's required with a clear track record of academic excellence
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); strong business acumen a plus

• Organizational and time management skills to independently manage your expert pipeline process across many different engagements and timelines
• Approach tasks with a high level of urgency and intensity needed to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Professional communication skills required for recruiting and negotiation with senior-level industry experts
• Fast learner with the ability to quickly get up to speed on a wide variety of industries
• Strong people instincts to evaluate the expertise and participation willingness of new experts
• Capacity for high-volume outbound cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
• Prioritizing team success over individual success
• Ability to navigate LinkedIn
