Job description

Agile Development: Collaborate within a mid-sized agile team, actively engaging in development and maintenance tasks

Technical Analysis: Assess new requirements and estimate the effort required for implementation

Design and Implementation: Design and implement various platform components with a focus on scalability and performance

Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to uphold high coding standards and ensure code quality

Automated Testing: Write unit, integration, and component tests for your code

Skills and competencies

Java Experience: A minimum of 5 years of Java development experience is required

Java Server-Side Frameworks: Familiarity with both open-source and proprietary frameworks is essential

Database Knowledge: Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases, along with experience in in-memory databases such as Redis

Performance Optimization: Knowledge of performance, memory management, and scalability issues

API Development and Maintenance: Experience in designing and maintaining APIs

Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical ideas, both verbally and in writing

English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills

Dropwizard Framework: Experience with Dropwizard is a plus

Spring Boot: Familiarity with various Spring frameworks is beneficial

Kafka Middleware: Knowledge of Kafka would be advantageous

Problem-Solving Skills: A strong drive for technical innovation, particularly in addressing performance, scalability, and reliability challenges

Testing Proficiency: Familiarity with test frameworks and the ability to write automated tests for self-developed code
