DevOps Engineer

Location: Novi Sad

Your role would include:

• This position does not imply configuration of production environment and performing of deployment to live stage solely, it is much more than that... It implies understanding of mechanisms that ensure continuous development & verification with respect to software requirements traceability as key enabler for keeping software green all the time
• Helping integration of Tools and Applications into the development process   
• Being involved in tool and design evaluation, and later taking responsibility for the rollout and operations of tools
• Managing a professional relationship with all stakeholders with a high level of social and technical competence 
• Ensuring that processes, tools and applications provide the best development experience together with Software Developers 
• Helping develop a state-of-the-art software factory environment and providing it to engineers 
• Helping increase development performance with automation tools and frameworks for continuous everything (CI, CD, CV) 
• Maintaining and upgrading company's software factory environment by designing efficient infrastructure and workflow 
• Helping reduce manual efforts by automating processes and workflows 
• Implementing monitoring solutions to ensure quality of service 
• Implementing performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and support demand prediction 
• Investigating technical issues and developing a sustainable solution 

Requirements:

• Academic education in computer technology (BSc or MSc degree)   
• 3+ years of experience in a similar positions 
• Profound experience with containerized/virtualized environment (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant)
• Good scripting skills (emphasize on Python)
• Experience with monitoring and management of build servers (well acquainted with Linux, Ansible and Prometheus)
• Practical experience with automation of workflows and CI/CD frameworks (preferred Jenkins).
• Profound understanding and support of the DevOps Engineer mindset (how does your infrastructure ensure that software is green all the time?)
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures 
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
