We are searching for an experienced React Developer in Macedonia or Serbia to join our development team. As a React Developer, your responsibilities will encompass designing, developing, and maintaining product features utilizing React, NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Your role in the software development lifecycle will involve close collaboration with a team of developers, testers, and the product owner to deliver solutions that exemplify high-quality product features.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and maintain product features using React ;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications;
  • Develop reusable and modular React components that can be easily integrated into different parts of the application, promoting code reusability;
  • Integrate with backend APIs, fetch and display data, handle responses, and manage asynchronous operations using libraries like Axios or the Fetch API;
  • Identify and implement performance optimizations, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and minimizing unnecessary renders, to ensure a fast and responsive user interface;
  • Conduct code reviews, refactor code, and fix bugs to improve performance and maintainability;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation;
  • Develop unit tests and participate in testing to ensure software quality;
  • Collaborate with team members and provide regular updates on project progress;
  • Implement security best practices, including input validation and data sanitization, to safeguard the application from potential vulnerabilities;
  • Stay current and enhance your skills by staying updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices within the React ecosystem.

Who are you:

  • A strong grasp of React core concepts such as components, props, state, lifecycle methods, and hooks;
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) is essential for writing clean and efficient code;
  • Familiarity with popular component libraries like Material-UI;
  • Understanding of state management solutions like ReactQuery to manage the state of your application;
  • Experience with tools like React Router for creating seamless, client-side navigation within your app;
  • Ability to work with RESTful to fetch and display data from servers;
  • Proficiency in CSS and responsive design principles to ensure a consistent user experience across different devices and screen sizes;
  • Comfortable using Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development;
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks;
  • Proficiency in optimizing React applications for speed, including code splitting, lazy loading, and minimizing unnecessary renders;
  • Proficient in utilizing browser developer tools and React DevTools to diagnose and resolve issues;
  • Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and package managers (npm or Yarn).
  • Experience with for building server-rendered and static web applications, including routing, data-fetching methods (SSR/SSG/ISR), API routes, and performance optimizations specific to the ecosystem;
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including clear explanation of technical topics, effective collaboration within the team, and confident communication with clients in a consulting environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Backend experience: Experience with backend programming (NodeJS/Express, Python, .NET, PHP, Java...);
  • Experience with UI/UX design.
