DLP MANAGER

ROLE SUMMARY:

DLP Manager is a key role responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and managing defect claims and resolutions on residential properties during the warranty period. This position requires active collaboration with contractors, supervision teams, and clients to ensure that all issues are efficiently addressed, and properties meet the agreed quality standards. Additionally, the DLP Manager is accountable for aligning deadlines, resources, and activities to complete all corrective work within the agreed timeframes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and oversee all activities related to reporting and resolving defects during the warranty period. Ensure all issues are properly documented and addressed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with contractors to align corrective work deadlines based on reported defects and ensure timely completion of works
  • Plan and monitor execution activities, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed deadlines and standards
  • Coordinate with the main contractor to perform remaining works during handover and monitor progress
  • Provide technical support and expertise across various properties to ensure compliance with warranties, design, safety, and quality standards
  • Identify and address issues arising between construction phases and during the warranty maintenance period
  • Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing service delivery according to prescribed standards, ensuring both corrective and preventive maintenance are carried out as scheduled and at agreed service levels
  • Fully support team members communicating with residents to resolve all complaints and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for escalating unresolved or complex issues to senior management or relevant stakeholders
  • Regularly report on the status of all defect claims, progress in issue resolution, and overall customer satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in construction project execution, with a strong focus on building construction and residential properties

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Good understanding of construction procedures, project and material management principles, as well as applicable regulations, standards, and quality requirements
  • Highly developed organizational abilities, time management skills, and experience in coordinating teams and resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve misunderstandings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders (clients, contractors, supervisors)
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues related to construction works and property maintenance
