Continuous Engineering

Location: Novi Sad

Your role would include:

• Shaping and execution of DevOps vision, roadmap and engineering strategy across the company 
• Enabling the company's transformation towards "Continuous Everything (CX)" way of working by building the processes, tooling, and CI/CD infrastructure for continuous build & integration, traceability, verification/validation and reporting, delivery & deployment, and continuous learning 
• Building, mentoring and scaling a high-performing DevOps department 
• Fostering a culture of automation, reliability and continuous improvement 
• Working with engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices early in the development cycle 
• Improving system reliability/stability through implementation of monitoring, alerting and self-healing mechanisms 
• Ensuring high availability of build and deployment infrastructure 
• Ensuring and supporting efficient release management processes 
• Tracking KPIs according to DORA principles 
• Sharpening & executing organization-wide DevOps guidelines and compliances processes 
• Leading technical evaluations of new tools, platforms and architecture 
• Understanding and customizing solution in accordance with project specifics 

Requirements:

• Academic education in computer technology (BSc or MSc degree)   
• Proven track of leadership competences 
• Strong communication, prioritization and stakeholder-management skills 
• Strategic thinking with hands-on ability when needed 
• Experience in release management 
• You appreciate automation as key enabler for all efficient activities 
• Experience in formal development frameworks e.g. V-Model and establishing traceability mechanisms that connect requirement, architecture, code and testing activities 
• Profound understanding and support of the DevOps Engineer mindset with focus on how DevOps infrastructure ensures that software is green all the time 
• Profound experience with containerized/virtualized environment (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant) 
• Practical experience with automation of workflows and CI/CD frameworks (preferred Jenkins) 
• Experience with monitoring and management of build servers (well acquainted with Linux, Ansible and Prometheus)
