General Responsibilities

• Build a Comprehensive Client Portal:

Develop the core web application that serves as the central hub for clients throughout their journey - tracking design iterations, procurement decisions, construction milestones, and ongoing home maintenance in one seamless experience
- Create End-to-End Workflow Dashboards:

Design intuitive dashboard that guide clients through each phase of the process, from exploring design options and making purchasing decisions to monitoring construction progress and scheduling maintenance
- Architect Robust Backend Systems:

Design and implement scalable APIs using FastAPI and manage database infrastructure with Supabase and Postgres, ensuring reliable tracking of project timelines, budgets, documents, communications, and all critical data across the entire homeownership lifecycle
- Develop MCP Protocol Integration

: Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to expose our systems' data and capabilities to AI agents, enabling seamless interaction between custom AI agents and our web platforms. Build secure, well-documented MCP endpoints that allow agents to query project data, update statuses, retrieve documents, and execute workflows programmatically
- Develop Real-Time Progress Tracking:

Build features that give clients live visibility into their project status - construction updates, budget tracking, timeline management, and team communications - transforming complex project data into clear, actionable insights
- Design Interactive Visualization Tools:

Create web-based experiences that allow clients to explore their home designs in 3D, review material selections, visualize construction phases, and understand maintenance schedules directly in the browser
- Build Document and Asset Management:

Implement comprehensive systems for managing contracts, permits, design files, warranties, maintenance records, and all documentation that clients need throughout their home's lifecycle
- Support Internal and External Users:

Work closely with our architectural staff, project managers, and clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and continuously refine the platform based on real-world usage and feedback. We're a startup, and they're your customer sitting right next to you.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience with lead project engineer experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred, Angular/Vue/Svelte acceptable)
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript proficiency
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Comfort with responsive design and modern CSS frameworks
• Experience building dashboard or portal applications with complex workflows

Preferred:

• Previous startup experience or tech leadership on a new project
• Experience with FastAPI and Supabase (or similar backend stack)
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent integration frameworks
• Experience integrating AI/LLM agents with web applications and APIs
• Familiarity with 3D web visualization libraries , , or similar)
• Experience with document management systems or file handling
• Understanding of project management workflows and timeline tracking
