Clerk II (holding the functional title of Clinic Assistant) (several posts) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine
(Ref.: to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics and hold a valid Basic Life Support Certificate, with at least 3 years of full-time work experience. Knowledge and experience in providing healthcare services, particularly in the Orthopaedics clinical area, will be an advantage. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, strong computer literacy, good interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, meticulousness, and the ability to work independently. A client-oriented mindset, along with a polite, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor is essential.

Appointees will assist the Nursing Officer and contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic by (1) supporting patient care, treatment procedures, and other clinical matters; (2) handling administrative tasks and front desk duties; (3) managing clinic supplies and maintaining general cleanliness in the clinic; and (4) performing other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required based on operational needs.
