At Get Licensed, we help people get training, get licensed and find work, and we do this by leveraging technology to make the whole process as efficient and easy as possible. We operate across a number of verticals, and we're looking to expand those verticals to cater to demand in the UK. We've helped more than 400,000 people get licensed and find work and are consistently rated 5-star on Trustpilot with over 32,000 reviews.
Get Licensed is a fast-paced technology business at heart (the majority of our team are developers or tech wizards), and we are at an exciting stage of our business, having tripled since 2020. We have ambitious plans to significantly scale our existing business, broaden our product suite, and continue to grow profitably revenue year on year, with a clear roadmap of how we will get there. We are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end learner and classroom experience across GuardPass, QualHub, Training Providers, and in-person learning.
This full-time Manager based role will be responsible for defining, improving, and optimising the entire learner journey, from on-boarding and course discovery to classroom experience and post-course flows. This is a highly cross-functional and impact-driven role requiring deep product thinking, strong analytical capability, and a passion for educational technology. You will lead product strategy, run experiments, work with designers and engineers, and collaborate heavily with Operations, Trainers, Compliance, and Customer Support to build delightful, efficient, and measurable learning experiences.
What you will be doing:
1. Product Strategy & Ownership
- Own the learner journey roadmap across digital and physical (classroom) touchpoints.
- Drive product vision for modernising UK security training through technology and experience design.
- Translate business goals into product goals, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes.
2. Execution & Delivery
- Work closely with engineering, design, and content teams to ship features that meaningfully improve completion rates, satisfaction scores, and operational efficiency.
- Run A/B tests, experiments, and data-driven iterations to validate ideas and improve conversion at each step.
- Lead discovery sessions, gather user insights, and validate requirements with learners, trainers, and internal teams.
3. Learner & Classroom Experience
- Improve training day experience: onboarding, attendance, assessments, communication, trainer tools, and post-course flows.
- Work with trainers, invigilators, and the Operations team to identify friction and build solutions that scale.
- Enhance content delivery, quizzes, assessments, and micro-learning within the app.
- Ensure consistent quality benchmarks for both digital and in-class learning.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Ops, Compliance, and Customer Support to resolve critical issues in the learner experience.
- Work with Business Intelligence to define dashboards and track KPIs (attendance %, completion %, NPS, refunds, cancellations, etc.).
- Communicate clearly with leadership on progress, risks, and trade-offs.
5. Data & Analytics
- Use data to identify bottlenecks, create hypotheses, design experiments, and measure results.
- Define and track success metrics for learner engagement, attendance, classroom experience, and post-course outcomes.
- Work with the BI and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience.
- Strong experience in educational technology (edtech apps, LMS, assessment tools, online learning, or training products).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience running A/B tests, experiments, and analysing data to drive decisions.
- Strong product sense with the ability to break down complex problems logically.
- Experience shipping both mobile and web products.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with trainers, operations, and leadership.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with marketplace or multi-sided platforms.
- Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and ability to guide design direction.
- Prior experience with operationally complex businesses.
- Knowledge of compliance-heavy or regulated sectors.
- Experience with SQL, BI tools, or basic data querying.
Expected Behaviours:
We're primarily non-hierarchical, allowing all our colleagues to take responsibility from day one. We are committed to achieving excellence whilst having fun and being highly curious. We are passionate about hiring fantastic individuals who thrive in an open, fast-paced and collaborative environment, are accountable to themselves, and are willing to roll their sleeves up to get stuff done.
There are certain behaviors we expect from our colleagues, and the key ones are below. Fundamentally we expect everyone at Get Licensed to Do The Right Thing. We measure performance against these behaviors as part of each team member's monthly performance review:
- Agility: We move fast, adapt quickly, and continuously improve.
- Curiosity: We never stop learning and seeking better ways to do things.
- Excellence: We set new standards and strive to exceed expectations.
- Love: We care deeply for the work we do, for each other, and for our customers.
What we offer:
- Competitive base salary with additional benefits, including private medical insurance, and paid holiday.
- Unlimited opportunities for career growth and professional development
- The chance to influence and improve training delivery across the organization.
- Join a dedicated and professional team where your ideas are welcomed and your commitment rewarded.
- As the face of Get Licensed, you will be required to lead by example, and live the Get Licensed values to their fullest, based around Doing the Right Thing.
