We are in search of a motivated and talented individual to join our team as
Software Developer in Test (SDET)
and start solving all sorts of challenges on an exciting property management platform, which is dedicated to managing long-term and short-term rental properties in major European cities.

You'll become a member of
cross-functional team which delivers in fixed 6-week cycles with a short cooldown
, using concise Cycle Cards, DoR/DoD gates and an interrupts policy to protect focus. You'll own the testing strategy and automation that make this cadence reliable — while being pragmatic about covering some tests manually until the framework is fully in place.

We're searching for a
Software Developer in Test (SDET)
who enjoys owning testing strategy, building automation that protects users, and enabling fast, confident releases.

Must-Have Tech Experience

  • Programming:
    strong in our tech stack (TypeScript/JavaScript, PHP/Laravel); clean, testable code.
  • E2E frameworks:
    hands-on with Playwright or Cypress (or equivalent), including page-object/fixture patterns and test isolation.
  • API testing:
    REST/GraphQL, contract/schema validation, negative/pathological cases.
  • CI/CD:
    pipeline design (parallelism, retries, caching), gating on PRs, artefacting and fast failure signals.
  • Data & environments:
    SQL basics, seed/fixture management, ephemeral envs, mocks/stubs, deterministic resets.
  • Version control & delivery:
    Git (trunk-based/PR review), feature flags/rollouts.
  • Quality engineering:
    flake analysis, root-cause reporting, risk-based testing, clear written communication.

Nice to Haves

  • Performance & reliability:
    lightweight load testing, timings in CI, synthetic checks post-deploy.
  • Observability:
    using logs/metrics/traces to debug tests and production issues; alert tuning.
  • Contract testing
    (e.g., Pact), security awareness for auth/PII flows.
  • Infrastructure basics:
    Docker/containers; scripting for local/dev parity; running test runners in containers.
  • Mobile or cross-browser automation experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Define the test strategy across layers (unit, integration, API, E2E) and keep one source of truth per initiative (the Cycle Card).
  • Build and stabilise E2E coverage for critical journeys; manage flakiness (quarantine/deflake/delete low-value tests).
  • Embed quality gates: wire DoR/DoD and acceptance criteria into the workflow/CI so only "ready" work starts and only "done-done" ships.
  • Own CI integration: fast feedback on PRs, parallelism/caching, artefacts (videos, screenshots, logs), and a "stop-the-line" policy for broken golden paths.
  • Lead exploratory/regression passes until automation catches up — no ego about doing what protects users.
  • Handle true P0/P1 incidents without derailing planned work; channel P2+ into cooldown/backlog.
  • Publish quality metrics (flake rate, escaped defects, MTTR indicators) and feed insights into cycle reviews.
