As a Game Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our "Legacy Arcade" project, an evolving online gaming platform. Your responsibilities include transforming design concepts into functional games, optimizing code for performance, and ensuring the best quality and responsiveness of applications. This full-time opportunity allows you to be part of our cutting-edge gaming initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Game Development: Turn design ideas into fully functional games
  • Code Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Error Resolution: Identify and rectify code errors to ensure smooth gameplay
  • Optimization: Optimize code size and performance for various devices
  • Collaboration: Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure top-notch performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games
  • Project Variety: Contribute to multiple game development projects

Requirements:

  • JavaScript Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript is essential
  • Unity and/or Unreal Engine Knowledge: Familiarity with Unity and/or Unreal Engine is required
  • Game Development Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of game development experience
  • 2D Game Development: Working knowledge of 2D game development
  • Versatile Skillset: Understanding of various game technology areas such as gameplay, graphics, and tools
  • Version Control: Proficient in code versioning tools like Git
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and logical problem-solving skills
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

  • Proficiency: Experience with is advantageous
  • Batch File Management: Knowledge of batch file management is a plus
  • Cocos Creator Familiarity: Any experience with Cocos Creator is a plus
