This is what energises you

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will become an integral part of one of our Agile Scrum teams. Within your team you are responsible for challenging your team members to deliver the quality our customers expect and deserve. Based on a test strategy, you contribute to the design and execution of test cases. Besides manual testing, you ensure that the framework for test automation is maintained and improved. Thanks to your automated tests, the developers receive rapid feedback on their completed work and you help to provide quality to our customers. 

In addition your role will consist of the following tasks: 

• Coaching the development team on QA and reviewing test automation;

• Collaborating with the Testing Guild to share knowledge and experiment with new QA standards and techniques;

• Developing and maintaining test automation with tools such as Playwright and Cucumber; 

• Developing, enhancing, and executing tests for web applications and microservices;

• Taking ownership of testing tooling to increase quality every sprint;

• Working closely with developers and engineers in an agile SCRUM environment.

This makes you successful 

Within this role you're responsible for the overall quality and performance of our IXON Cloud Platform. Therefore, it is important to work in a detailed and structured way. Besides that, we are looking for an efficient communicator who's able to provide developers with clear information, so that they can quickly solve the bugs you find. In addition it would also be nice if you identify with the following points: 

• At least 2 years of experience in testing or software development; 

• experienced in automated testing; 

• You have an analytical mindset, which enables you to see the bigger picture; 

• You are fluent in English (so you can communicate with your team);

• You are living within driving distance of Belgrade; 

• You are willing to travel occasionally to our headquarters in the Netherlands.
