POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary

As an IT Assistant, you will support daily IT operations across hardware, software, networking, and user support. You'll collaborate with the IT Manager and other departments to ensure seamless technology experiences for both staff and guests. This collaborative environment is further enriched through regular interaction with Marriott Headquarters IT teams and various external service vendors, providing enterprise-level support and alignment with luxury hospitality standards to ensure seamless technology experiences for both staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities


• Provide technical support for computers, mobile devices, printers, telephone, and network systems.


• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and peripherals.


• Manage user accounts and access permissions securely.


• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and server systems.


• Perform system backups and ensure data protection protocols are followed.


• Educate users on correct Marriott systems and services usage and securing Personal Identifiable Information (PII).


• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure physical security of equipment.


• Respond to guest and staff IT inquiries with professionalism and discretion.

Hospitality Environment Focus


• Deliver exceptional service aligned with St. Regis brand standards.


• Communicate clearly and courteously with luxury hotel guests.


• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.


• Collaborate with other departments to support guest satisfaction.

Learning & Development


• Work closely with the IT Manager to gain hands-on experience.


• Participate in training and mentorship programs.


• Explore growth opportunities within Marriott's global IT network.

Required Skills & Qualifications


• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.


• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.


• Basic knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, mobile device (Android and iOS), networking, and troubleshooting.


• Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and cloud services.


• Previous experience in Hospitality and/or IT environments.


• Ability to navigate throughout the hotel building and engage in tasks beyond a traditional office setting, including lifting and transporting equipment weighing up to 10 kilograms

• CompTIA A+


• ITIL Foundation


• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
