Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

• Maintain and continuously improve equipment and tools to ensure continuous and efficient operation, meeting production needs while controlling maintenance costs
• Participate in the design review of new equipment/tools and establish equipment/tool lists
• Plan and organize employee schedules in collaboration with superiors, including breaks, absences, temporary workers, and overtime
• Supervise workers in electro, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of machines and equipment
• Plan and implement job rotations as per maintenance sector needs
• Monitor key KPIs within the operational zone
• Compile and update Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures for equipment
• Train maintenance sector employees and other staff
• Address equipment failure issues and summarize root causes, particularly downtime exceeding 15 minutes
• Monitor employee efficiency and organize training sessions to enhance skills
• Manage spare parts, formulate standards and purchasing plans, and maintain reasonable spare part inventory
• Standardize maintenance files, records, statistics, analysis, and archive maintenance checklists, parameter control tables, etc
• Implement and continuously optimize preventive maintenance plans and improve equipment efficiency
• Organize maintenance staff and assign tasks as needed
• Participate in training and assessing maintenance staff to improve efficiency levels
• Organize and participate in commissioning and inspection of facility and equipment installations
• Assess safety and health risks related to production equipment and formulate appropriate management plans
• Supervise safety operations to ensure equipment is in working condition
• Ensure compliance with internal quality system requirements and standards (IATF16949 / OHSAS18000 / ISO14000) by continuously improving relevant procedures and standards application within the department
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the industrial site
• Ensure facilities are in good, operational, and technically flawless condition
• Independently service, maintain, and repair the entire facility within and outside the factory
• Identify equipment damage and determine repair needs
• Evaluate repair costs and collect bids
• Coordinate external services within the scope of responsibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment
• Conversational-level proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Electronic Data Processing (EDP) and a basic understanding of industrial laws
