About the Role

Our team develops and supports internal services to automate processes related to expert recruitment and work. The system covers tasks such as resume processing, automated scoring, candidate testing, and payment management. We are currently working on integrating agent-based approaches into existing processes.

As a small team, we are looking for a proactive person who can manage their work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development:
    Designing, developing, and maintaining microservices using
    Python
    ,
    FastAPI
    , and
    Pydantic
    .
    PostgreSQL
    is used as the primary database.
  • Process Automation:
    Working with the
    Temporal
    framework to create and maintain workflows.
  • Data Engineering:
    Building and maintaining pipelines for delivering and processing data in our Databricks-based Data Lake.
  • Support:
    Maintaining existing
    DAGs
    in
    Apache
    Airflow
    .

Key Challenges and Projects:

  • Third-Party System Integration:
    Gather extensive signals about our experts from 3rd-party sources to enhance anti-fraud measures and improve overall expert quality.
  • Skill Verification Implementation:
    Implement diverse methods for skill assessment, ranging from AI-based video interviews to integrations with platforms for hard skill assessments.
  • Onboarding Agent Construction:
    Build a suite of AI-native automations (an "Onboarding Agent") to create customized project onboarding flows, helping new team members become effective more quickly.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience as a
    Python Developer
    .
  • Experience developing backends with frameworks such as
    FastAPI
    ,
    Django
    , or
    Flask
    .
  • Understanding of relational database principles (
    PostgreSQL
    ).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Temporal or similar workflow management systems.
  • Experience with Databricks or other big data platforms (e.g., Spark).
  • Experience maintaining and writing DAGs for Apache Airflow.
