Role Highlights:

As a QA Engineer at Playtronix, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless performance of our web applications through meticulous testing and analysis. Your expertise in testing will be pivotal as you collaborate closely with our development and product teams to address any issues that arise. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment while contributing to the success of our gaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and review requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct thorough functional, regression, usability, and GUI testing of our web applications.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Utilize bug tracking tools like Jira to report and monitor issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform mobile testing to ensure compatibility across a variety of devices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to convey testing results and insights.
  • Employ tools such as Postman and Fiddler for API testing and analysis.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in web testing.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, usability, and GUI testing principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
  • Experience using bug tracking tools like JIRA for issue tracking and management.
  • Solid grasp of web application functioning and browser principles.
  • Previous experience with mobile testing is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, delivering tested software in each iteration.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other programming languages.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • ISTQB Software Testing Certification or similar accreditation.
  • Background in Sports Book, Sports Betting applications, Player and Transactions Management platforms, or ERP applications is a plus.
