About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced
NodeJS Developer
to join our growing team in Belgrade, Serbia. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable web applications and APIs used by thousands of users. If you love solving complex problems, working with modern technologies, and collaborating in an agile environment, we'd love to meet you

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance
    web applications and APIs
    .
  • Ensure application
    security, scalability, and reliability
    .
  • Work with
    REST and SOAP APIs
    , integrating internal and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers in an
    Agile/Scrum
    environment.
  • Write
    clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
    .
  • Participate in
    code reviews
    and mentor junior developers.
  • Contribute to
    CI/CD pipelines
    and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance in
    high-traffic environments
    .

Skillset & Qualification

  • Excellent knowledge of
    JavaScript
    and
    SQL
    (MySQL, Oracle).
  • Strong expertise in
    NodeJS
    and frameworks like
    ExpressJS
    or
    NestJS
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS protocols
    , with a focus on
    security and performance
    .
  • Strong foundation in
    algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, and integration patterns
    .
  • Experience with
    Linux OS
    (RedHat/CentOS).
  • Hands-on experience with
    TypeScript
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Git, JIRA, and CI/CD tools
    .
  • Experience working in
    Agile teams
    .
  • Strong communication skills and a
    collaborative mindset
    .
  • Good command of
    English
    .
  • 4+ years of professional experience
    in backend development.
  • (Nice to have)
    Knowledge of
    PHP
    .
