As a Software Engineer (Frontend), you'll play a crucial role in building the modern application that will power our next-generation digital banking experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Be a part of the team that will shape the future of digitalization within NLB Group.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, resilient, and secure Angular applications that deliver seamless and responsive user experiences.
• Use JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, and component-driven development practices to create dynamic, reactive interfaces.
• Implement responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and Bootstrap, ensuring consistency across devices and platforms.
• Contribute to the setup and maintenance of frontend build systems using Webpack, , and npm.
• Integrate applications with backend services and APIs in a secure and efficient manner.
• Work with serverless platforms like Firebase to support real-time features and backend less workflows.
• Optimize application performance using browser profiling tools and best practices in rendering and state management.
• Debug and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth application functionality.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and reliability, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design new features with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in development and proactively suggest improvements to our application.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (mandatory).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Proven proficiency developing enterprise Angular applications that integrate with a wide range of APIs.
• Experience with JavaScript fundamentals, its runtimes, and reactive programming with RxJS.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and a solid grasp of the browser rendering lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Sass and Bootstrap for responsive and maintainable UI design.
• Familiarity with state management tools and patterns.
• A well-equipped toolset including Webpack, , npm, and performance profiling tools
• Experience with at least one additional major frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue).
• Strong foundation in either object-oriented or functional programming paradigms.
• Experience working with event-driven architectures and component-driven development.
• Ability to build and maintain complex frontend clients, including integration with REST APIs and authentication protocols.
• Experience with Firebase or other serverless services.
• Strong skills in designing clean and maintainable code.
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code.
• High attention to detail, with a strong focus on user experience and responsive design.
• Strong communication skills with engineers, designers, and managers, both in person and across productivity tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
