Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Backend Developer. The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems for various web applications.
Develops the logic layer that connects data to applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain APIs (REST, GraphQL) between DWH, AI/ML, and the Dashboard layer.
  • Manage system architecture, caching, and authentication.
  • Develop integrations with ERP and e-commerce systems.
  • Implement microservices and event-driven infrastructure.
  • Handle CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

Other responsibilities involve ensuring the performance and reliability of the applications, as well as debugging and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Back-End Web Development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Programming
  • Experience in Software Development and Front-End Development
  • Solid understanding of databases and their interactions with web applications
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with AI technologies and automation is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
