Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
Supporting the existing UK UWA sales team in the process of on-boarding new clients along with conducting ongoing client reviews and servicing. Also providing support to the UWA Senior Management team where required.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Servicing existing clients and partners and address general ad-hoc and technical queries.
- Supporting the coordination of all aspects of the tailor made, complex financial cross-border solutions until the transactions have been approved and agreed with all stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely together with the insurance company in order to service the UWA clients and act as an intermediary for them.
- Supporting the UK Sales team with reviewing existing client files where required ahead of meetings and assisting in identifying opportunities and with following up.
- Preparation of annual client reviews as appropriate, supporting the paraplanner conducting the review ensuring that the support is in accordance with FCA regulatory and client suitability requirements.
- Management of annual reviews and responsibility for the progress reporting of the review to Senior Management.
- Assisting where required in the preparation of suitability letters, creating advice sets, illustrations and documentation preparation for both UWA and Utmost carrier AML checks.
- Liaising directly with clients where appropriate and contacting third parties for any additional information that maybe required or to answer third party questions/queries.
- Management of, and responsibility for the UWA partners, introducers and third party database ensuring appropriate documentation is completed and Compliance approval received to onboard the third party.
- Responsibility for ensuring that the FCA Record Keeping requirements are adhered to and that client files remain up to date and relevant.
- Working efficiently, in line with procedures and processes to tight deadlines to ensure smooth business submissions, high service standards that result in a good client experience.
- Flexible to also work on projects as and when required relating to the business development of UWA.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory changes, relevant legislation, business risks and appropriate CPD requirements.
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Junior Paraplanner?
- Experience within the wealth planning industry in a junior paraplanner role dealing with HNW and UHNW clients resident in the UK preferred.
- An understanding of the wealth management business in the UK.
- Ability to work independently, confidently and prioritise.
- Understanding of client profiling, risk analysis and asset allocation.
- The ability to clearly articulate and escalate issues and solutions along with providing constructive challenge.
- Strong analytical and lateral thinking, numerate and excellent time management skills.
- Client focused with a flexible, driven and team focused approach to work.
- Fluent in English, and capability in any other European languages would be an advantage.
