, Miami-based transportation company is looking for: TRUCKLOAD DISPATCHER

Job Responsibilities:
● Booking loads and developing relations with the drivers and brokers
● Effective planning and coordination of freight for our trucks
● Understanding the need for on time pick up, delivery and notification to the brokers
● Assigning available drivers to loads to accept each load for proximity to pick up location, available hours under DOT regulations, home time and training requirements
● Establish course of action to ensure that work is completed efficiently
Experience/Skills Required:
● 6 months minimum experience in a related dispatcher role (applications without it will not be considered)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
● Extensive knowledge of DOT hours of service/regulations
● Strong decision making, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
● Collaborative attitude, energetic, positive, focused on details/results, determined to perform at a high level
