Senior Android Software Engineer

As we scale our apps and products, we face the exciting challenge of extending the robustness and scalability of our systems. • Design and build Android applications for camera, media, and vision technologies using Kotlin and Java.
• Deliver quality code, debug complex problems, prioritize, and get things done with efficiency and urgency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple engineering and algorithms teams.
• Possess strong experience in building scalable UI layers using both Android XML and Jetpack Compose.
• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence by leading code reviews, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices across the team.

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
•  4+ Years of Experience with application development using object-oriented programming languages such as Kotlin (Java, C++).
•  Strong architecture skills, including API design, design patterns, and code reusability.
•  Familiarity with revision control systems, code review processes, and build infrastructure tools such as Git and Gradle.

•  Familiarity with Android media APIs (e.g., ExoPlayer, Media3, MediaCodec).
•  Understanding of camera processing and computer vision pipelines.
•  Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for system-level Android development (e.g., adb, logcat, systrace) and android IPC Mechanisms.
