Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Scientist based in Belgrade (remote work also possible). The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, conducting statistical analyses, designing predictive models, and creating data visualizations to support business decisions. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, refining data collection processes, and implementing data-driven strategies. The role supports Ominimo's mission of utilizing cutting-edge technology to improve insurance processes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Science techniques and tools, with a focus on predictive modeling and machine learning
  • Strong foundation in Statistics and Data Analysis, including hypothesis testing and statistical modeling
  • Experience in Data Analytics and Data Visualization to transform data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and insights to non-technical audiences
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the insurance is a plus but not a must
