About the Role

We're looking for a Senior React Native Developer to lead the evolution of our mobile apps - from architecture to release - and deliver delightful, high-performance experiences to our users.

Not only someone who is technically strong but also forward-thinking about how AI is reshaping software development.

You'll be a key member of our engineering team - building and scaling new products, shaping our developer experience, and leveraging AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and internal coding agents) to deliver better software, faster.

We want someone who's curious about AI, confident using it as an accelerator, and eager to help us define the next generation of AI-assisted engineering at Carauktion.

What You'll Do

• Own the end-to-end development of our React Native mobile apps (iOS & Android).
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to build performant, reliable mobile experiences.
• Architect and maintain shared modules, state management, and design systems.
• Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication layers (Keycloak / OAuth2), and native SDKs.
• Optimize app performance, scalability, and offline capability.
• Drive code quality through testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Use and experiment with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Mentor junior developers and influence the mobile roadmap.

• AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cody, or Claude Code

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of mobile development experience, including 3 with React Native (must).
• Strong understanding of mobile UX, app lifecycle, and platform nuances (iOS & Android).
• Proven experience shipping and maintaining apps in App Store / Play Store.
• Solid grasp of TypeScript, async data handling, and state management.
• Experience with modular architecture and reusable components.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated release pipelines.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools to boost productivity.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with micro-frontends or multi-tenant architectures.
• Native development experience (Swift/Kotlin).
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, or analytics.
• Exposure to AI/ML, chat interfaces, or real-time systems.
