Products Inspector

Main Responsibilities

• Assisting the quality engineer in statistics of quality data, quality improvement tracking, verification, and trial production of new products;
• According to the requirements during the production inspection, finding out abnormal conditions on the scene and reporting and dealing with them in a timely manner;
• In accordance with the requirements of the operating instructions, conducting the incoming inspection and timely giving feedback on unqualified incoming materials;
• Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials in accordance with ODS, drawings, Work instructions etc.
• Supervise the work of the supplier's field service personnel;
• The first item is inspected daily according to the control items determined by the engineer;
• Inspecting the finished product, filling in the results of the random inspection, and processing the non-conforming product according to the processing list;
• Obtain adequate preparation of weld sections and perform measurement under microscope in accordance with documented instructions verifying weld penetration, leg length, throat thickness, appearance quality and other features;
• Assisting engineers in training new employees and performing rotation training for team members;
• Finding and making reasonable suggestions for sustainable improvement in daily work;
• Using 5S to ensure a clean, tidy and orderly workplace;
• Working ability needs to meet the specific requirements of the client;
• Undertaking the management responsibilities required by the company's related BOS files and IATF16949 / ISO45001 / ISO14000 standards, ensuring the effective operation of BOS files, and continuously improving the relevant procedures and applications in BOS files within the department. (Applicable to all positions)Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of related welding processes, analyzing the weak links in the production process, and implementing continuous improvements to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs;
• Responsible for capacity planning and tracking of welding equipment and tooling to ensure on-time delivery of customer production requirements;
• Prepares, checks and updates process documents, including but not limitied to PFMEA, CP,process flow chart, plant layout, operating instructions, processing instructions, etc.;
• Responsible for formulating the welding process flow and designing the layout, reviewing the feasibility of the welding process of the new project, and suggesting improvements to the product design; at the same time, putting forward requirements for new welding equipment and tooling, and participating in the fixed-point work of the supplier;
• Participate in the review of new project process plan, including equipment, tooling, production line layout, personnel quota, etc., and propose improvement suggestions to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and meet quality stability
• Responsible for process plan quotation, formulation, and on-site implementation caused by engineering changes after project approval, and update pre-clearance documents (including but not limited to PFMEA, CP, flow chart, operation guide card, etc.)
• Responsible for designing or selecting welding equipment, tooling and other welding process related equipment to ensure compliance with safety, ergonomics and quality requirements;
• Responsible for the installation, parameter debugging and technical acceptance of welding equipment for new projects, and file related materials; responsible for trajectory debugging of welding tools;
• Responsible for the debugging and verification of welding tooling and the later improvement and maintenance to ensure that the product quality meets the testing requirements; Responsible for formulating and regularly updating the maintenance plan of welding equipment, supervising maintenance workers to implement the maintenance plan;
• When the welding equipment is down or in other emergencies, responsible for repairing or contacting the supplier for repairs. At the same time, cooperating with the supplier to analyze the cause of the downtime and to implement corresponding solutions;
• Participate in the development and application of new technology, new process and new equipment;
• Responsible for analysing and resolving potential safety hazards at the production site and for continuously improving the safety work procedures of each position; Participating in the assessment of safety hazard sources of welding equipment and formulating corresponding management plans; training, instructing and supervising the safe operation of employees;
• Trains and directs the process actions of direct workers, indicates and corrects improper procedures that violate the requirements of the process in a timely manner, ensures that the production process is under control;
• Conducts training of other engineers and technicians in their area of responsibility;
• Collects data at the production site on a daily basis, analyzes weak points in the production process, and implements continuous improvement to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs;
• Responsible for the completion of all required KPI indicators (including but not limited to cost reduction, continuous improvement, etc.)
• Working ability needs to meet the specific requirements of the client;
• Undertaking the management responsibilities required by the company's related IOS files and IATF16949 / ISO45001 / ISO14000 standards, ensuring the effective operation of IOS files, and continuously improving the relevant procedures and applications in the IOS files within the department.

General Requirements

• High school diploma (III/IV level), area of education: engineering, technical or relatedBa/Ms degree ,field of education: mechanical engineering – mechanical, industrial, process
• 1 or more years of relevant experience in area of quality control- 3 or more years of relevant experience
• Good interpersonal communication and organization and coordination skills, strong team awareness;
• Ability to understand drawings and use basic measuring tools and test devices for etch testing;
• Safety and quality awareness, strong execution, strong learning and hands-on skills, certain reading and understanding skills of ODS operating procedures Compliance with corporate values, safety and quality awareness,strong execution and learning;
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, strong team awareness;
