Client overview:

Our long-term client is a well-known software product company in Switzerland, with over 350 software developers working on one of the world's largest core banking systems in the FinTech industry. The team we are hiring for is responsible for systems that handle documents, workflows, notifications, and archiving within the banking software used by many Swiss banks. Their work is essential because it provides the tools and services that other development teams and bank employees rely on in their daily operations.

Position overview:

We are looking for a
PL/SQL Developer
who is eager to grow and contribute to the success of our client's project. Whether you are a
medior or senior
developer, your motivation to learn, collaborate, and integrate into the team matters most. You will work on a variety of tasks involving databases, workflows and legacy system integrations, and gain deep insights into the banking domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and maintenance of
    workflow and document management systems
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement database logic using
    PL/SQL
  • Troubleshoot and optimize
    queries, stored procedures and database processes
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand
    requirements
    and deliver reliable solutions
  • Continuously learn and apply new skills in
    banking processes, database technologies, and microservices.

Requirements - Must-have:

  • Minimum
    3 years of hands-on experience
    with
    PL/SQL
    development or
    Oracle tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to
    learn and grow
    in PL/SQL and banking systems
  • Basic technical understanding of
    databases and software fundamentals
  • Good command of
    English
    (spoken and written).

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with
    microservice architecture
    and
    legacy system integrations
  • Interest in or previous exposure to
    workflow, document management or related domains
  • Knowledge of
    German
    (or willingness to learn).
