Head of Quality

Position Overview

 We are looking for a Head of Quality who will take ownership of our overall quality strategy: Leading the QA team while also driving quality initiatives across the company. This person will ensure our products, processes, and data meet the highest standards, balancing hands-on involvement with strategic leadership. They will not only guide the QA function but also influence broader areas such as data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development
  
  

  • Manage and mentor the QA team, setting clear goals, coaching for growth, and ensuring strong collaboration with engineering and product.
    
    

  • Define and enforce best practices in testing, automation, and defect management.
    
    

• Quality Strategy & Execution
  
  

  • Build and evolve the quality roadmap for both software and business processes.
    
    

  • Drive initiatives that go beyond QA, ensuring quality standards are embedded across data, reporting, and operational workflows.
    
    

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate quality considerations into planning and delivery from the start.
    
    

• Day-to-Day Operations
  
  

  • Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting — ensuring timely feedback to development teams.
    
    

  • Review and improve data quality processes, including error detection, validation, and remediation strategies.
    
    

  • Monitor quality KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
    
    

  • Support teams in resolving cross-functional quality issues (e.g., in data pipelines, integrations, or reporting).
    
    

• Continuous Improvement & Compliance
  
  

  • Promote a culture of quality and accountability across the company.
    
    

  • Identify gaps in processes and tools, and lead initiatives to close them.
    
    

  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
    
    

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quality leadership role (QA, Quality Engineering, or broader Quality Management).
  
  

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, automation tools, and quality metrics.
  
  

• Familiarity with data quality, data pipelines, and/or cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
  
  

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
