ABOUT THE ROLE:

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile platforms.
This role blends hands-on test automation with manual testing when needed, ideal for someone with a "can-do" attitude who enjoys digging into both code and the product experience
. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategies, build and maintain automated test suites (primarily using Playwright and tools like ), and validate features end-to-end before they hit production. This role is best suited for a pragmatic, detail-oriented QA engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well across teams, and is excited to work on a platform that directly supports jobsite safety and operational excellence

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for complex web applications using Playwright or similar frameworks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing strategy, coverage, and automation infrastructure
  • Collaborate with developers to write comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on product requirements
  • Perform manual testing, when necessary, especially for new or edge-case features that are not yet automated
  • Participate in feature design discussions to advocate for testability and quality from the start
  • Monitor, debug, and report bugs or inconsistencies in functionality across environments
  • Support the QA discipline as a whole: tools, documentation, knowledge sharing, and onboarding future teammates.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in a SaaS product company
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation tools such as Playwright
  • Strong grasp of software testing methodologies, QA best practices, and agile workflows
  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and integrating tests into release pipelines
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable automated tests and diagnose flaky or failing tests
  • Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a QA Team Lead or senior member driving QA strategy
  • Background as a developer or backend engineer, especially with PHP
  • Experience testing mobile applications (manual and/or automated)
  • Familiarity with performance testing or security testing tools.
