Solution engineer

As a Solution Engineer embedded within our support team, you'll take ownership of the entire solution lifecycle. This includes operational activities and deployment of the complex solutions built on the Navixy platform. Your expertise will encompass both core functionalities and crafting custom API solutions to address unique client requirements, ensuring seamless integration and a positive user experience.

Role Description

A solution engineer is a technical expert who plays a critical role in our sales process. Solution engineer leverages in-depth knowledge of Navixy products to deliver impactful demonstrations and provides detailed explanations to existing and potential customers. This enables solution engineer to effectively showcase the valued proposition of our offerings and address any technical inquiries with confidence.

Beyond sales enablement, solution engineer acts as trusted advisor who bridge the gap between product, technology and business needs. Solution Engineer excels at creating and describing complex solutions, both typical and bespoke. This involves carefully aligning technologies and our products with the specific challenges and objectives of each client. Through this consultative approach, solution engineers ensure that suggested complex solutions directly translate to tangible business benefits for our customers.

Operational activities
- Solution Engineers act as technical champion, spearheading the sales lifecycle through impactful demonstrations and in-depth explanations. Solution engineer leverages technology deep-understanding and product knowledge to showcase the capabilities of our offerings

• Facilitate informed decision-making through clear communication and insightful explanations to make informed decisions about adopting the product

• Deliver impactful demonstrations through compelling demos that showcase the product's functionalities and its value proposition

• Provide detailed explanations through a deep understanding of the product, enabling them to translate technical features into easy-to-understand explanations

Deployment activities -
Solution Engineer acts as a creative problem solver, strategically aligning technology with specific business objectives, crafting intricate solutions, both pre-defined, scalable and bespoke

• Solution design - go beyond standard configurations by designing custom solutions that leverage the Navixy platform's flexibility to address unique client challenges and workflows

• Integration expertise (incl. API) - possess the technical know-how to develop and implement comprehensive custom integrations that cater to specific client needs

• Business Impact - drive scalability, maintain and analyze the potential business impact of suggested solutions, ensuring that the proposed technology investment translates into measurable improvements

Key Metric

The main metric (North Star Metric) of success in this role lies in the ability to bridge the gap between technical expertise and business value. This can be measured by a combination of sales pipeline contribution (increased or retained volume of objects through solutions implemented) and client satisfaction with solution implementation (effectiveness, functionality, and alignment with business needs).

Organizational Structure

Head of support will be a line manager for a solution engineer. The work will be built within one Customer Operations department, which means close interaction with Account Executives and Customer Success specialists within the framework of forming proposals to the client. As well as involving the expertise of product development teams and infrastructure support engineers.

Job Requirements

• English (fluent / native) - strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience as a solution engineer or in a related position such as technical account manager or sales engineer, presales engineer 3 years or more.
• Education in IT, telecommunications, or related technical fields.
• Located within Belgrade area
• Work authorization
