As a Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in building the core systems that will power this innovative platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO?

• Design and implement integration solutions using Software AG products and Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies
• Develop, configure, and optimize data pipelines for effective data movement, transformation, and real-time processing
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java and related technologies, focusing on creating seamless and reliable user experience.
• Document technical and design specifications
• Analyze existing code, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficient solutions that contribute to a smooth and enjoyable customer journey.
• Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to design and implement robust and reliable APIs that power our user-facing applications.
• Contribute to the development of microservices and cloud-native architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience for our growing user base.
• Implement and maintain unit tests, automated tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and a stable platform for our customers.
• Monitor and optimize integration process for efficiency, scalability, and resource utilization
• Work with event-driven architectures and reactive applications using Kafka or similar technologies to ensure real-time updates and responsive user experience.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for efficient application deployment and management, ensuring a smooth and reliable service for our customers.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of RESTful APIs using RAML, Swagger 2.0, or OpenAPI, ensuring seamless integration with our front-end applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development, always looking for ways to improve customer experience.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation focused on delivering value to our customers.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING?

• Proven professional experience in Java programming.
• Excellent knowledge of Jakarta (Java) EE and experience with microservices frameworks (Spring Boot, Quarkus, etc.).
• Proficiency with Java tools such as Maven.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Proficiency with either OOP or functional programming paradigms.
• Experience with Unit tests, automation, and code reviews.
• Excellent knowledge of Microservices and Cloud-native architecture paradigms.
• Experience in event-driven architecture and reactive applications using Kafka or other event streaming and/or queueing platforms.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with API description formats for REST APIs (RAML, Swagger 2.0 and OpenAPI).
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (mandatory)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
