Android Software Engineer

  • Required Education, Experience & Skills:
  • At least Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years or above proficient in Java/C/C++ and other programming languages
  • Familiar with one or several functional module frameworks in Android framework, such as GPS, WiFi, BT, Camera, audio and video codec, Telephony, Settings, System UI, Launcher, etc.
  • Proficient in Android Telephony framework (Phone process, Rild and AP/BP interaction), familiar with network injection process, call process, RIL transplant, data network problem handling, etc., and have rich development and debugging cases in related aspects.
  • Have the WiFi or BT related protocol standards and performance indicators experience, have rich experience in short-range wireless communication protocol analysis and debugging, who are preferred.
  • Experience in smartphone/tablet PC development and proficient in Android WiFi or BT Framework is preferred.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for modification, maintenance and customization of Android Framework functions
  • Responsible for the definition of the upper layer APP software interface and the design and development of the protocol and architecture above the HAL layer.
  • Work for function development, debugging and customer support tasks related to Modem and Telephony software stack.
  • Handle network carrier certification support.
  • Charge the development of certification tools, such as Lwm2m, OMADM, etc.
  • Engineer can analysis and solution of WiFi/BT related problems on Android and linux platforms
  • Responsible for debugging and code implementation of WiFi/BT module according to project and customer requirements.
  • Provide support to upper-layer software workmate to help solve relevant problems.
  • Support relevant teams such as FAE, hardware and software test team.
  • Participates in construction of team capability maps and the output of related technical training materials. Review important issues and output technical summary analysis reports.
  • Other designated work arranged according to the company's business needs.
