We are seeking a Payment Specialist to own and optimize our global payment infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for ensuring our wallet and cashier deliver a seamless, efficient, and localized payment experience for every market we serve.

You will continuously analyze current payment options, identify new payment providers and methods per region, and work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to deliver the best possible user experience. The ideal candidate deeply understands the global payments landscape, including cards, e-wallets, crypto, and alternative local methods, and is passionate about optimizing conversion, user trust, and transactional efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayment Ecosystem Oversight
  • Audit, monitor, and evaluate all existing payment methods on the platform to ensure performance, reliability, and market alignment.
  • Analyze conversion data, transaction success rates, and payment-related user behavior to identify friction points and optimization opportunities.
Payment Method Expansion
  • Research and propose new payment methods and providers per geographic market—balancing cost, popularity, reliability, and legal compliance.
  • Build business cases for integrating new options, including expected ROI, adoption rate, and strategic fit.
  • Maintain relationships with PSPs, banks, and payment partners.
Wallet & Cashier Optimization
  • Continuously refine the wallet and cashier UX, ensuring popular options are prioritized per region and displayed dynamically based on user behavior.
  • Work closely with Product to implement and test layout, flow, and feature improvements that maximize deposit and withdrawal efficiency.
  • Ensure parity across web and mobile, identifying inconsistencies and opportunities for frictionless experiences.
Collaboration & Implementation
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers to scope, prioritize, and test new payment integrations and UI improvements.
  • Act as the payments subject-matter expert for all cross-functional projects involving transactions, wallet logic, and user payment behavior.
Data & Performance
  • Work with Data to produce and maintain dashboards tracking transaction volume, success/failure rates, deposit mix, cost per transaction, and market share by payment type.
  • Regularly present insights and recommendations to senior management on performance trends and optimization plans.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking of payment offerings and checkout experiences within the iGaming and fintech sectors.
Key Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years' experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce (iGaming, crypto, or high-volume online transactions preferred).
  • Strong understanding of global and local payment systems (cards, e-wallets, APMs, open banking, crypto, etc.).
  • Experience working directly with PSPs, acquirers, and payment gateway integrations.
  • Solid grasp of user experience and conversion optimization principles related to payment flows.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and measurable improvements.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the iGaming, crypto, or financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge of payment metrics tracking and BI tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Understanding of web and mobile UX patterns for payment flows
