As an Embedded Software Developer at wenglor, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of industrial automation. You'll be responsible for

:

  • Developing hardware-related software components
  • Creating firmware for camera-based image processing systems
  • Integrating and developing drivers and interfaces on Linux-based platforms
  • Representing and evolving the current software architecture
  • Contributing to the design of the entire software stack
  • Innovating with concepts for new technologies
  • Debugging, testing, and profiling embedded systems using tools like JTAG, GDB, and Logic Analyzer

We're looking for someone who brings both expertise and passion to the table:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience as an Embedded Software Developer
  • Proficiency in C/C++, CMake, Git, Jenkins, and deployment strategies
  • Confident working with the Linux shell
  • Ideally, experience with RTE, PLC controls, Yocto, and software architecture
  • Fluent communication skills in English
