Science Project Type: Independent Exploratory Research Recruitment: International Volunteers & Research Collaborators Compensation: Voluntary / Unpaid Participation Research Period of Interest: Experiences occurring in 2020 or earlier Languages: English and other languages with translation support Project OverviewNoName.
Science is launching an independent, interdisciplinary research initiative focused on unusual human experiences, altered states of consciousness, visual perception, body awareness, and subjective energetic sensations. We are seeking volunteers, independent researchers, neuroscientists, psychologists, parapsychology enthusiasts, and individuals willing to share personal experiences, especially those occurring before or during 2020. The project aims to document historical experiences, identify recurring patterns, compare personal testimonies, and explore possible explanations through neuroscience, psychology, phenomenology, and consciousness studies. Primary Research ReferencesReference 1: GREEN COLIBRI — Perceived Energy Interaction (2020–2021)A personal account involving the perception of green, hummingbird-like forms accompanied by sensations interpreted as energy extraction or energetic cleansing. Reported locations:
• Vienna, Austria — U6 Josefstädter Straße, 2020
• Szeged, Hungary — Nagyfa Prison, 2021 Reported sensations include pulling or draining feelings in the back, dull pain, and subsequent subjective relief. Research questions:
• Have other individuals experienced similar visual forms?
• Have people reported unusual pulling sensations around the spine or back?
• Can such sensations be associated with identifiable physiological or neurological processes?
• What psychological and perceptual mechanisms may contribute to these experiences? Reference 2: MDMA VISUAL TRAIL — Altered Perception (2002–2003)A retrospective personal account of unusual visual phenomena following an initial experience with ecstasy, reportedly occurring in 2002 or 2003. The individual described seeing approximately 15–20 cm visual trails following hand movements, as well as unusual motion-related visual effects while observing the body in a mirror. Research questions:
• Have others experienced comparable visual trailing or afterimages?
• What is the relationship between psychoactive substances and altered temporal perception?
• Can these observations be examined through the neuroscience of visual persistence and palinopsia?
• How does the brain construct a continuous representation of bodily movement? Who Can Participate? We welcome:
• Individuals with relevant first-person experiences
• Independent consciousness researchers
• Neuroscience and psychology students
• Researchers interested in unusual perceptual phenomena
• Specialists in phenomenology and cognitive science
• Volunteers interested in historical experience documentation Prior academic qualifications are not required for sharing a personal experience. Volunteer ResponsibilitiesParticipants may contribute by sharing written accounts, answering structured research questions, suggesting scientific literature, or helping organize and compare anonymized reports. Participation is voluntary. Contributors may request anonymity and may decline questions or withdraw before their information is incorporated into a published analysis, subject to any previously agreed publication terms. We do not ask participants to recreate experiences through psychoactive substance use or other potentially unsafe methods. Scientific IntegrityThe project distinguishes subjective experiences from independently established scientific findings. References to simulation theory, energetic cleansing, or external entities are treated as personal interpretations or hypotheses, not verified mechanisms. This is an independent exploratory initiative, not a university-sponsored clinical study. Any future formal human-subjects research will require appropriate ethical review, consent procedures, and data protection safeguards. Expected OutcomesThe project seeks to develop:
• An anonymized collection of voluntary historical testimonies.
• A comparative classification of reported perceptual phenomena.
• A preliminary interdisciplinary research report.
• A scientific literature review.
• Potential research collaborations and publications, subject to appropriate review. International InvitationIf you experienced unusual visual effects, apparent energy sensations, altered body awareness, or other unexplained perceptual phenomena in 2020 or earlier, we welcome your voluntary contribution. We also invite qualified researchers to offer methodological feedback and independent scientific perspectives.
