Job DescriptionThis role as Financial Analyst supports the IFC team by assisting with desk research on political, macroeconomic, industry, and sector developments in Serbia. The analyst will contribute to business development, due diligence analysis, financial analysis, and project monitoring while participating in missions and project appraisals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the IFC team with desk research on political, macroeconomic, industry, and sector developments in Serbia;
- Contribute to business development, due diligence analysis, financial analysis, and project monitoring;
- Participate in missions and project appraisals;
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Master's degree in economics, finance, public policy, business, legal, or organizational sciences;
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in international finance/development, auditing, business consulting, mergers & acquisitions;
- Analytical and quantitative skills in economics and/or private sector development work, including financial analysis;
- Familiarity with the social and economic challenges of the Western Balkans and a previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture would be highly regarded;
- Fluent English language skills, with knowledge of Serbian being an asset;
Candidates selected for this opportunity will benefit from:
- International UN Youth Volunteer contract ensuring travel, relocation, and UN health insurance costs are covered;
