International Development Finance Specialist

Job Description
As an International Development Finance Specialist, you support the IFC as follows:
- Assist the team with research on political, macroeconomic, industry, and sector developments in Serbia;
- Support the formulation and execution of country strategies, prepare briefing materials, and develop partnerships with World Bank teams;
- Contribute to business development, due diligence analysis, financial analysis, and project monitoring, and participate in missions and project appraisals;
- Support advisory projects, working with economists and operations officers on activities like regulatory framework analysis, stakeholder identification, and event organization;
- Other tasks that support the role's objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in economics, finance, public policy, business, legal, organizational sciences or related field;
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in international finance/development, auditing, business consulting, mergers & acquisitions;
- Analytical and quantitative skills in economics and/or private sector development work, including financial analysis;
- Familiarity with the social and economic challenges of the countries in the Western Balkans and a previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture would be highly regarded;
- Fluency in English, knowledge in Serbian is an asset;
- Excellent command of analytical tools and software used in the field.
