Job Description:

As an international development finance specialist, you will support IFC by assisting the team with desk research on political, macroeconomic, industry, and sector developments in Serbia.

You will also contribute to business development, due diligence analysis, financial analysis, and project monitoring, and participate in missions and project appraisals.

Additionally, you will support advisory projects, working with economists and operations officers on activities like regulatory framework analysis, stakeholder identification, and event organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in economics, finance, public policy, business, legal, organizational sciences or related field.

You should have demonstrated interest and/or experience in international finance/development, auditing, business consulting, mergers & acquisitions.

You must have analytical and quantitative skills in economics and/or private sector development work, including financial analysis.

Familiarity with the social and economic challenges of the countries in the Western Balkans and a previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture would be highly regarded.
